STUART COLEMAN

MANAGING DIRECTOR & ARCHITECT
BA(Hons), MArch, PgDip, RIBA

Within Coleman Anderson, Stuart leads a team of highly passionate and skilled architects and designers working on a wide variety of projects from various sectors. His specific skills lie within the private residential sector where he enjoys working closely with his clients to deliver high-quality and truly bespoke architecture. He has experience working on projects situated within the Green Belt, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Conservation Areas and is particularly interested in negotiating their constraints through innovative design and engineering.

Before forming Coleman Anderson Architects, Stuart worked as a sole practitioner building a network of trusted consultants and developing his management skills to aid his passion for architecture and business. Prior to this Stuart spent 5 years at Open Architecture, Sevenoaks where he worked on a number of award-winning residential projects.

Stuart is an apprenticeship mentor and as a practice Coleman Anderson Architects actively support and encourage their employees into further education. Stuart studied at Northumbria University and passed his RIBA Part III at Kingston University.

Outside of the office Stuart is a keen sportsman. He is a lifelong member of Sevenoaks Rugby Club, where he captained the club for three years, leading them to promotion into the National Leagues. He now integrates his team leadership skills and understanding of team dynamics to all project stages and always maintains a thriving team environment within the practice.
