PHOEBE PADLEY

SENIOR ARCHITECT
BA (Hons), DipArch, ARB

Coleman Anderson’s Senior Architect, Phoebe Padley brings over 10 years’ experience of award-winning housing and mixed-use projects of all sizes in London and the South East.

Phoebe studied at Brighton and East London Universities and passed her RIBA Part III at The Bartlett UCL with distinction. Before joining Coleman Anderson Architects, Phoebe was an Associate at the award-winning Matthew Lloyd Architects in Shoreditch, East London, where she had a senior role in the design of housing and mixed-use projects at all stages of design and construction, often working with complex client groups.

Her project experience includes residential, community, church and education projects, including SEN schools, working with historic & listed buildings and new-build construction.

One of her particular strengths is her ability to communicate through drawing and visual media to help clients refine their brief and identify critical success factors for a project, delivering them through concept design, planning, technical detailing and construction. She also has extensive experience leading design consultation events with communities and complex stakeholder groups.

Phoebe is passionate about creating places and spaces for people, whether an extension for a family home or a masterplan for a brownfield site; be it urban or rural, big or small, contextual or iconic, each project is important, from layout to detail and from beginning to end and beyond.

Alongside her project work, Phoebe is a studio tutor at Brighton University. She has spoken at Women into Construction events and is keen to encourage women into all trades and professions of the construction industry.
