Every project starts in this room at our Tunbridge Wells studio, and it starts with questions rather than drawings.
What a family needs from their home, how they actually live day to day, whether an extension is even necessary or the existing footprint can work harder.
In a first meeting we do more listening than talking.
From there we work up options rather than presenting a single answer.
Finding the right design usually means testing a few wrong ones first, which takes longer, but it’s why the finished home fits the people living in it.

This is the part nobody photographs.
There’s no finished kitchen in this footage and no styled shelf in sight.
Just structure, services and setting out.
This stage rarely makes it into anyone’s portfolio, but it’s where a project is quietly won.
Get the levels, the openings and the first fix right here, and everything that follows sits exactly where the drawings said it would.
We attend site regularly through this stage for that reason, because the decisions made now are the ones the finished photographs depend on.
