Sam Nicholls
Sam began his journey with Coleman Anderson Architects as a summer intern during his undergraduate studies. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Newcastle University in 2017, he rejoined the firm and quickly became a key member of the team.
Following his Part 1 placement year, Sam decided to further his architectural education. Coleman Anderson Architects supported him through his Part 2 and Part 3 qualifications, which he completed via the Level 7 Apprenticeship Scheme at London South Bank University, culminating in his qualification in 2022.
Balancing professional experience with academic pursuits, Sam has developed a robust foundation in architecture. His passion for design, and extensive construction knowledge have meant that he is an integral part of the delivery team within the practice.
During his tenure at the firm, Sam has contributed significantly across all project stages, building a diverse and impressive portfolio. He collaborates closely with clients to design spaces that promote healthy lifestyles and enhance daily environments, with sustainability as a core principle.
Outside of his professional and academic commitments, Sam is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying rugby and golf. His love for outdoor activities and exercise is evident, as he eagerly participates in a wide range of sports.
Notable completed projects Sam is proud to have delivered are Claremont Avenue, Acacia way and Bakers Farm Oast due to their contemporary styles and challenging briefs to create fantastic family homes.
