Rachel Sexton

Rachel joined Coleman Anderson Architects in April 2021, as her first job in architectural practice since graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree from Newcastle University in 2020. Rachel quickly adapted into the office to become a valuable member of the team. Rachel has a passion for bespoke and high-quality design, and loves working closely with clients to ensure that their visions are met. She has a talent for hand-drawing and visual digital media, and loves bringing her design ideas to life this way. Rachel also currently leads our interior design arm of the practice, and places high importance on interior spatial design, specialising in aspects such as colour schemes, furniture and soft furnishing details, and detailed lighting and joinery design. She is hoping to pursue an Interior Design Diploma in 2025.

Rachel’s favourite projects to have been involved with at the practice so far have been Burstock and Deakin Leas, due to seeing the projects through from concept to completion and delivering homes the clients are incredibly happy with.

When she isn’t at work, Rachel is a keen artist and can often be found sketching or discovering as many new books and music artists as she can. She also loves spending time whenever she can with her family, friends, partner, and pets!
