From the vibrant streets of Bangkok to the historic towns of the United Kingdom, Henry’s architectural journey spans continents and cultures, reflecting a deep commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
Henry’s passion for architecture was ignited in Thailand, where he pursued his studies in vernacular architecture and tropical design at the Assumption School of Architecture and Design. His thesis on “Palliative Architecture” laid the foundation for his international career defined by bespoke, innovative projects, ranging from luxury hotels and resorts to high end private residences.
Upon returning to the UK, Henry’s work encompassed a wide range of projects, from designing buildings in London in collaboration with Arup Consultants to developing airports for the Russian Winter Olympics with Hin Tan Associates. However, the fast-paced urban environment eventually gave way to a more fulfilling path, where Henry focused on working closely with clients on smaller, impactful projects through local practices.
Together with his father, Henry co-founded Rexx and Co, a venture that seamlessly blended traditional hand-drawn techniques with modern technology to produce unique technical illustrations. This enterprise led to successful exhibitions and allowed Henry to maintain his connections with Thailand while serving a diverse clientele in the UK.
Henry’s collaborative spirit flourished upon reuniting with Stuart at Coleman Anderson, where his expertise played a pivotal role in establishing a ‘Bangkok Office’ for the firm, effectively bridging his work across continents.
In 2021, Henry returned to the UK, re-engaging with Coleman Anderson on a variety of exciting projects such as Otia Tuta, Woodside Road and Knowle Way, continuing his mission to create spaces that harmonise history, functionality, and beauty.
