ACACIA WAY

ACACIA WAY

CHALLENGE

The practice was challenged with making Acacia Way, a much loved family house in a leafy London suburb, which was built over 25 years ago, into a better suited house for an ever-growing family.

The conservatory which was once the light and life of the home had become unfit for purpose and had gradually become worn out, with sun-stained PVC, condensation and a leaky roof.

As life for the family got busier, the time spent together got more important, meaning a space for them to all come together and enjoy eachothers company was vital. Our challenge was to create an entertainment space, suitable for a large and flourishing family, for the next 25 years.

REACTION

“Coleman Anderson dealt with all aspects of the development professionally, thoroughly and effectively from imaginative design ideas, layout, planning, scheduling, and negotiations with builders through to managing the works to meet our standards and demands. All building works take too long and are too expensive, but without the support and assistance of CAA, it would have been so much worse. We moved back in after 6 months away to a special house that meets the demands of a modern family, and we will be happy to spend another 20 years living in our small piece of paradise created by a wonderful team of people.
