Whitecroft Gardens
Brief
Beau Property, a repeat developer client, engaged us to assess the development potential of a site in Tunbridge Wells, currently occupied by a pair of semi-detached houses with extensive gardens. The brief was straightforward: maximise the development opportunity of the site.
Response
Located within the Tunbridge Wells Conservation Area, the site demanded a response characterised by high-quality design. The local architectural vernacular features large, detached houses, predominantly constructed from brick.
Our design drew inspiration from this context, incorporating refined brickwork detailing to accentuate the gable ends of each new property. The dwellings were conceived to elegantly blend traditional architectural forms with contemporary elements. Through this approach, we successfully obtained planning permission on the first attempt for seven high-quality family homes.
