CATEGORY – Development, New Build
LOCATION – Speldhurst, Kent

The site, original named Clint, contained a detached three-bedroom bungalow, with an extremely generous garden. The site was purchased by ‘Joint Ventures in Property’, who appointed Coleman Anderson to help explore the development potential of the site as a whole.

Coleman Anderson developed a two phase scheme which comprised of two, new build, five bedroom family homes with private gardens and detached garages.

Phase two of the project will involve the renovation and conversion of the loft of the existing bungalow, now formally known as Eastwood, to a four bedroom chalet bungalow all with en’suites, increasing the value of the host dwelling.

The new build properties have a traditional appearance, and have been designed to sit within the topography of the site. The natural slope of the land enabled the properties to be lowered into the ground that has helped to reduce the visual bulk of the new properties. Internally they embrace a more modern, open plan, living arrangement to a high specification including audio/visual system throughout with four extremely generous bedrooms, two with en’suites plus a master suite on the second floor with a private balcony, en’suite and dressing room.

Both properties have been built using a timber frame method of construction, speeding up the delivery time of the project and achieving excellent thermally efficient homes.

We are delighted with the progress of the properties so far and look forward to completing the project.
